FAQs
The “Rancho i Vancho na Kata” is a 90 years old stone house located in the center of the village Omorani. It has been restored in authentic Macedonian style and now offering accommodation facilities and exclusive dinners under the starry night, for nature lovers who are eager to experience new adventures.
The village landscape is attractive for all those seeking adventures such as mount biking, walking tours to the nearby old monasteries (st. Nicola, 2h walking from the Guesthouse), hiking to Solunska Glava peak 2555m a.s.l., or enjoying life by self- aromatherapy days.
How to arrive in our Guesthouse?
The real challenge is to arrive promptly if you drive from Prilep: there are 2 asphalted roads available, to get to the property. The first one is from Veles city (distance 113km, traveling time 2h). The second one is from Prilep riding via rural and hilly area along the villages Crnilishte – Bogomila – Teovo – Omorani (the road is picturesque and narrow, with excellent asphalt layer, but still not visible on google.maps; distance 68km, traveling time 1.5h).
Travelers with off-road vehicles may use the off-road via Izvor (distance 53km, traveling time 2h).
Currently, there is no regular public transport (upon request, we can arrange specific transportation).
Do you offer additional services?
Additional services include the Chic Picnic by candlelight and starry sky in the garden around 19:00 to 20:00, and few one-of-a-kind experiences (Private photo-model session, Liqueur tastings, Self-aromatherapy retreat, Walking to Babuna Waterfalls, and other which you can find in the page for Experiences).
Well, we have many outdoor sitting areas and only 1 pet that would sit around with its owner, would require a permanent cleaning service from our side, which unfortunately, we are not able to offer. In addition, in the wider surrounding there is no specialized cleaning service for cleaning of the rooms after the pets leave, for the next guests. Thank you for understanding.
The swimming pool was constructed in the basement pit of the previous, 18th century old house. It is rather small for swimming, but very sufficient for chilling-out in the hot, summer days (5m x 3m x 1,5m). The water is regularly disinfected with appropriate filters and dosage of chemical agents.
Guests can relax around the pool on 2 sitting platforms. Beach towels are also provided.
What if we come early or we wish to leave later?
Our check-in and check-out times take into account the timing of the tidying up of our 3 room accommodations and 350 sqm of furnished outdoor garden, including the sitting areas and pool refreshment.
While you are welcome to stay in the garden/platforms before/after the check-in/out times, we will be busy and a bit noisy with the described cleaning/maintaining works.
What type of food do you serve for breakfast?
While the main food is either warm sandwiches with boiled eggs or scrambled eggs with seasonal green papers/leek, there is also addition of local cow cheese, olives, seasonal cucumber/pickles, butter, jam and sweet of the day.
How children can be accommodated?
Children up to 3 years age may sleep in the same double bed with parents, if appropriate, or we can place a child-mattress on the floor (in the same room with parents) and set of bedsheets and blanket.
Children between 4 to 8 years age can sleep in the same room with parents, with placement of a mattress on the floor and set of bedsheets and blanket). This service costs additional 5 EUR/night.
Children from 9 years and older can stay in a separate room where standard rates apply.
Are there insects, mosquitos and other animals?
Those who choose Rural Tourism, choose to stay in Nature. To ensure a pleasant stay, we strive to limit the presence of insects as much as possible by taking the following precautions:
- presence of insect nets in all the windows of the rooms;
- provision of mosquito repellents in the outdoor sitting areas;
- careful cleaning and monthly disinfection of the wood elements.
